NAZALI is looking for a motivated lawyer to join our IT, Telecommunications, Data Protection, and Privacy team. This is a client-facing role offering the chance to work on compliance and audit projects, provide daily legal consultancy, and engage with cutting-edge technologies such as AI and cryptocurrencies.
What you will do:
- Assist in compliance and audit projects, including the preparation, revision, and localization of the RoPAs and other legal documentation as well as conducting VERBIS/IYS registrations.
- Provide timely, solution-oriented legal consultancy to both local and international clients for daily requests.
- Draft, negotiate, and revise contracts on related matters.
- Support due diligence processes and advise on emerging tech matters.
- Contribute to thought leadership with articles and presentations.
- Participate in meetings with existing or prospective clients/business partners, whether in-town or out-of-town.
What we are looking for:
- Law school graduate with a preference for a postgraduate degree in a relevant field.
- Excellent command of written and spoken English.
- 2-3 years of experience in personal data protection and commercial electronic communication laws with a client-facing role.
- Enthusiasm for following local and international developments, writing articles, and preparing presentations in relevant fields.
- Strong analytical, communication, and client management skills.
- Proactive, detail-oriented, initiative-taking, and a team player.
- Proficiency in MS Office programs, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, as well as other presentation tools such as Canva.
- Ability to work flexible hours in a fast-paced environment.
- No travel restrictions.
