This role will be responsible for managing a specific kitchen station while upholding the highest standards in food preparation and quality.

RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE ROLE
· Lead and execute all preparation, cooking, and plating duties within the assigned station
· Work closely with the Sous Chef and Head Chef to ensure smooth daily operations
· Adhere to strict hygiene, safety, and quality standards
· Follow recipes and portion control guidelines precisely
· Ensure compliance with all food safety procedures and HACCP standards
· Communicate inventory needs and minimize waste
· Demonstrate organization, professionalism, and teamwork at all times
· Assist with onboarding and training of new team members
· Support other kitchen sections when required
CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS
· Minimum 3 years of experience in a professional kitchen, preferably in luxury hotels or restaurants
· Expertise in at least one kitchen section (hot, cold, garnish, etc.)
· Strong team player with excellent communication and problem-solving skills
· Commitment to hygiene and cleanliness standards
· Ability to remain calm and efficient in a fast-paced environment
· Prior experience in tourism or resort kitchens is a plus
· Fluency in English is preferred
TECHNICAL AND BEHAVIORAL COMPETENCIES
· Strong attention to detail to maintain food quality and consistency
· Time management skills to ensure efficient workflow
· Awareness of plating aesthetics and flavor balance to enhance guest satisfaction
· Solid understanding of HACCP and food safety regulations
