Retail Training Manager

On behalf of our client, a leading multinational luxury retail company, we are seeking a Retail Training Manager based in Istanbul.

Job Description

• Drive the delivery and execution of all training projects across all stores within the HUB.
• Deliver and facilitate Business Training across in-store, classroom, and one-to-one settings, while creating training decks for morning briefings and in-store activities.
• Act as a "Training Expert" and strategic partner for the store teams, offering effective solutions and recommendations to meet business training needs.
• Coach and mentor Client Advisors on the retail floor by observing performance, providing constructive feedback, and exemplifying the luxury service experience—focusing on selling techniques, client understanding, and product storytelling.
• Monitor Training KPIs in line with the global framework and analyze Business KPIs to identify strategic learning solutions that drive sales.
• Manage relationships between business owners and the Training team, collaborating closely to assess needs and define training priorities.
• Develop and execute communication strategies tied to Business Training projects, facilitate monthly district training calls, and ensure training content meets quality expectations.
• Foster a positive, continuous-learning culture and environment across all stores.

Qualifications 

• Minimum 5 years of experience in the Retail industry (ideally with a background in retail shop floor operations or store management).
• Proven experience within training departments or in roles where training and developing others was a core responsibility (Luxury Retail experience is highly preferred).
• Hands-on selling background with a confident approach to retail sales techniques and floor coaching.
• Strong product expertise, awareness of fashion industry trends, and a passion for brand storytelling.
• Professional fluency in both English and Turkish.
• Experience with Digital Learning tools, platforms, and methodologies.
• High level of influencing and stakeholder management skills to partner effectively across different teams.
• Strong business orientation with an analytical approach to data and performance metrics.
• High agility to adapt and reprioritize quickly in line with evolving business needs.
• International experience and cultural sensitivity to successfully balance a global approach with local market requirements.
