Experience:

• LLB degree from a reputable university
• Qualified lawyer with a minimum of 7 years PQE in a major international law firm and/or the in-house legal department of a complex, internationally operating corporation
• Fluency in English; proficiency in additional languages is an advantage
• Strong knowledge of Turkish laws, regulations, and the judicial system; familiarity with international practices is an important plus
• Experience in energy, infrastructure, construction, project finance, and/or mergers & acquisitions (M&A), combined with a solid commercial background
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across diverse teams
• Proven ability to identify, simplify, and resolve complex legal issues
• Adaptability to dynamic and flexible corporate cultures
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize in a deadline-driven environment
• Willingness and ability to travel domestically and internationally

 Responsibilities:

• Negotiate, review and draft a wide range of legal and commercial agreements, including EPC, JVA, SPA, SHA, LOI, MOU, consortium agreements, supply and sales agreements, service agreements and equipment rental agreements,
• Provide legal support to project teams on contractual and regulatory matters,
• Ensure compliance with applicable regulations, guidelines, and standards; provide strategic advice on new legislative developments
• Manage and coordinate external counsel and consultants effectively
• Oversee dispute resolution and arbitration processes, reporting directly to management
• Deliver solution-oriented legal advice to business units
• Conduct proactive legal research and provide timely guidance to internal departments
• Handle legal correspondence and mediate or settle conflicts with third parties.
