GENERAL QUALIFICATIONS

This role is responsible for managing the successful delivery of deli2go Coffee Supply Chain Transformation and DO (Dealer Operated) Convenience Retail Expansion initiatives across Shell Türkiye, which constitute the primary focus of the position.

The role leads and coordinates the supply chain activities required to enable business growth, new site openings, network expansion, supplier onboarding, logistics readiness, and operational excellence for deli2go coffee and convenience retail operations. It plays a critical role in ensuring product availability, service quality, supplier performance, and cost-effective supply chain execution throughout the transformation journey.

The position acts as a key enabler for both supply chain operations and future growth projects, driving process improvement, cost optimization, and commercial value creation.

The role is expected to identify, pilot and scale opportunities for digitalization, automation, advanced analytics and AI-enabled supply chain capabilities to improve forecasting accuracy, inventory optimization, operational performance and decision making. 

Supply Chain Process Excellence & DO Expansion  

• Manage warehouse operations and inventory processes in coordination with logistics providers to ensure service excellence, inventory accuracy, and operational efficiency. 
•  Monitor warehouse capacity utilization, productivity, storage optimization, and stock control processes. 
•  Drive continuous improvement initiatives across warehousing, transportation, and distribution operations. 
• Support logistics network design, routing optimization, and transportation efficiency projects. 
• Analyse logistics cost drivers and identify opportunities for operational efficiency and cost reduction. 
•  Ensure compliance with warehouse management procedures, inventory control standards, and health & safety requirements. 
•  Lead root cause analysis and corrective actions related to inventory variances, service failures, and logistics performance issues. 
•  Support dealer network supply chain activities and contribute to improving dealer satisfaction and service performance. 
•  Conduct regular field visits to dealers and operational sites to understand business needs, identify supply chain challenges, gather customer insights, and translate findings into scalable operational and commercial improvement initiatives.
• Contribute to DO Expansion projects by ensuring supply chain readiness, operational set-up, logistics capability, and sustainable service support for new and existing locations.

deli2go Coffee Supply Chain 

•  Lead and coordinate end-to-end deli2go Coffee transformation projects.
• Develop and monitor project timelines, milestones, risks, and mitigation plans.
• .Coordinate logistics operations, commissioning, and roll-out activities.
•  Leverage food supply chain expertise to support deli2go Coffee & Food operations, ensuring best practices in food logistics, inventory management, shelf-life control and product availability. 
•  Ensure operational readiness and sustainable supply chain performance for deli2go Coffee operations, including supplier performance, product availability, inventory health, and service level management.
•  Work closely with category team, suppliers, field teams and external partners.
•  Monitor business case assumptions and supply chain benefits realization.
• . Develop sustainable operational processes for post-implementation support.
• Prepare project status updates and executive management reports.

SAP & Smart Supply Project Delivery

•  Support supply chain processes impacted by SAP and other system transformations.
• Support Smart Supply and other supply chain digitalization initiatives, including process optimization, reporting automation, and system enhancement projects.
• Coordinate business case development, benefit tracking, and financial evaluation of supply chain improvement projects.
•  Develop and maintain operational reporting and performance dashboards.
•  Support implementation of standard operating procedures and governance controls.

Requirements

•  Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related disciplines.
• Minimum 7–10 years of experience in Supply Chain, Logistics, Retail Operations, FMCG, Food Service, Convenience Retail or QSR environments.
•  Experience in food supply chains, including shelf-life management, food safety requirements, inventory planning and distribution operations, is preferred.
•  Previous experience working in a logistics service provider (3PL&4PL) organization is highly preferred.
•  Knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS), transportation management systems (TMS), and supply chain planning processes is preferred.
•  Experience in digital transformation, SAP, or large-scale business projects is preferred.
• Strong analytical skills in logistics cost modelling, network optimization, capacity planning, and productivity improvement initiatives.
•  Experience in fast-changing environments with multiple priorities.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and relationship management skills.
•  Hands-on, proactive, and delivery-focused mindset.
•  Strong change management capabilities.
•  Advanced MS Excel and PowerPoint skills.
•  Fluency in English
