Position Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Export Sales Specialist to lead and expand our sales activities across European markets. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing long-term business relationships, identifying new market opportunities, and increasing our presence in the European food industry.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute sales strategies for target European markets.(preference is the food sector)
Identify and acquire new distributors, wholesalers, retailers, and B2B customers.
Maintain and strengthen relationships with existing international clients.
Conduct market research to identify trends, competitors, and customer needs within the European food sector.
Prepare quotations, negotiate commercial terms, and close sales agreements.
Coordinate export operations with logistics, production, and customer service teams to ensure timely deliveries.
Participate in international trade fairs, exhibitions, and business meetings to promote the company's products.
Achieve sales targets and prepare regular sales and market performance reports.
Ensure compliance with European import regulations, food safety standards, and customer requirements.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, International Trade, Marketing, Food Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum 5 years of experience in export sales, preferably within the food industry.
Strong knowledge of European markets and international trade practices.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Professional proficiency in English (additional European languages are considered an advantage).
Ability to build long-term business partnerships and manage international customer accounts.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications; experience with ERP or CRM systems is a plus.
Willingness to travel internationally.
Preferred Experience
Experience working with European distributors, supermarket chains, food importers, and retail networks.
Knowledge of EU food regulations, labeling requirements, quality standards, and export documentation.
Proven track record of achieving export sales targets and expanding market share in Europe.
