Production Manager

On behalf of our client — a company based in Bursa, operating in the field of custom-designed industrial handling systems and crane manufacturing — we are seeking a Production Manager.

Job Description

• Oversee the manufacturing of components produced in the Turkish subsidiary (primarily machining, welding, metalwork, and assembly), ensuring deadlines, costs, and quality standards
• Optimize production processes to improve efficiency and reduce costs
• Implement and supervise quality control procedures to ensure product compliance with group requirements
• Collaborate with R&D and procurement teams to validate technical specifications and raw materials
• Negotiate with local suppliers to secure the best purchasing terms (raw materials, subcontracting, etc.)
• Analyze production costs and propose corrective actions to maintain competitiveness
• Lead and manage the production team, ensuring effective coordination and performance
• Report regularly to group management on industrial performance
• Participate in strategic meetings to align production with the group's needs

Key Skills

• Engineering degree (mechanical, production, or quality) or equivalent, with a specialization in industrial management
• Minimum 5 years of experience in production management within an industrial environment, ideally in the mechanical or automotive components sector
• Proven experience in quality management (ISO 9001, etc.) and cost optimization
• Proficiency in production management tools (ERP, MES, Lean Manufacturing)
• Strong managerial and leadership abilities
• Fluent in English (French or German is a plus)
• Rigor, autonomy, and the ability to work under pressure
• Analytical mindset and quick decision-making
• Initiative and adaptability in an international context
