Role Description

The Director of Sales & Marketing is a full-time, on-site role based at Kocataş Mansions İstanbul in Istanbul. This role leads the sales and marketing function, setting strategic direction, driving revenue growth, and strengthening the property’s market positioning in luxury hospitality. Day-to-day responsibilities include developing and executing sales and marketing plans, overseeing key accounts and partnerships, and monitoring performance against targets. The Director manages and coaches the sales and marketing team, coordinates customer engagement initiatives, and ensures consistent brand messaging across all channels. The role also collaborates closely with operations, revenue management, and senior leadership to align commercial strategies with guest experience and overall business objectives.

Qualifications

• Strong sales and sales operations skills, including pipeline management, forecasting, and contract negotiation.
• Proven experience in business development, with the ability to identify, pursue, and secure new market segments and partnerships.
• Background in customer service, focused on building long-term relationships and delivering high-quality guest and client experiences.
• Demonstrated team management capabilities, including mentoring, performance management, and cross-functional collaboration.
• Experience in hospitality or luxury services, ideally in sales and marketing leadership roles.
• Ability to analyze market trends and performance data to inform strategy and decision-making.
• Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills in English; proficiency in Turkish and additional languages is an advantage.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Hospitality Management, or a related field; relevant certifications are a plus.
