Your Role at Başaran Büyük Mağazacılık 

 As a key member of our growing marketing team, the Assistant Brand Manager (ABM) plays a critical and hands-on role in driving the success of globally recognised fragrance brands distributed by our company in Turkey. Reporting to the Brand & Marketing Director, the ABM supports the development and execution of brand business plans and strategies, adapts global assets to local contexts, and ensures consistent brand presence across all channels. 

 This position offers a unique opportunity to collaborate with the L’Oréal Group, internal stakeholders, and external partners to elevate the reach, performance and relevance of premium fragrance brands across Turkey’s physical and digital retail landscape. 


If you were our Assistant Brand Manager today, here’s what you’d be doing:

 • Supporting the Brand and Marketing team in delivering product and brand profitability by focusing on costs, average price and channel planning 

 • Supporting the Brand & Marketing Director in executing annual brand plans and launch roadmaps, aligned with both global brand strategies and local market needs 

 • Analysing market data and consumer behaviour to help tailor brand positioning and communication across channels

 • Collaborating with e-commerce and retail teams to execute activation and performance campaigns across platforms such as Trendyol.com, Hepsiburada.com, Boyner.com.tr, Beymen.com, and in-store environments

 • Adapting global marketing materials and digital assets into localised content that resonates with Turkish consumers 

 • Contributing to the development of briefs, reports, performance dashboards, and brand visibility initiatives across paid, owned, and earned media

 • Ensuring brand equity and compliance in all consumer touchpoints, from visual merchandising to digital shelf presence

 • Preparing reports on brand performance, campaign ROI, and competitive landscape; identifying trends and recommending actions to the Brand & Marketing Director

 • Coordinating with cross-functional teams (Sales, Digital, Accounting, Supply Chain) and external agencies to support integrated campaign execution

 • Assisting with sales forecasting, budget tracking, and marketing and retail calendar management in collaboration with the Brand and Finance teams 

 • Supporting the development of a localised content library and visual toolkit to amplify brand impact and adoption 


Skills You Bring to the Team 

 • Brand Execution: Ability to translate global brand strategies into local marketing actions with precision and consistency 

 • Analytical Thinking: Proficiency in extracting insights from sell-out, traffic, conversion, and ROI data to inform recommendations 

 • Multi-Channel Awareness: Understanding of the differences between physical retail, marketplaces, and e-commerce platforms

 • Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills in both Turkish and English; comfortable working with global brand teams

 • Collaboration & Agility: A collaborative mindset and the ability to work across departments in a fast-paced environment 

 • Organisation & Ownership: Strong project management and time management skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines and manage multiple initiatives 

 • Digital Fluency: Familiarity with marketing performance dashboards, campaign planning tools, and digital asset management systems is a plus 

 • Creative Sensibility: A passion for lifestyle, fragrance, or beauty branding and a good eye for brand aesthetics and storytelling


What We’re Looking For 

 • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field 

 • Minimum 2 years of experience in brand management, ideally in the beauty, cosmetics, or FMCG industry

 • A detail-oriented, curious mind, a big-picture thinker, and an individual who is always eager to listen and to learn more from the senior managers to gain first-hand experience 

 • Familiarity with coordinating with creative and media agencies, and managing external vendors

 • Strong reporting, analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities

 • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially PowerPoint and Excel. Power BI knowledge is a plus.

 • Fluent in Turkish and English (written and spoken). Interviews will be conducted in English. 

 • A passion for the world of fragrance and beauty is strongly preferred
