• Bachelor's degree in Law,
• Registered with the Istanbul Bar Association,
• Minimum 5 years of experience in compliance, risk management, internal audit, internal control, or similar governance/regulatory functions,
• Knowledge of corporate compliance, business ethics, applicable legislation, internal control processes, and related regulations,
• Experience working within a Legal Department and supporting the implementation of corporate policies, procedures, and Standard Operating Procedures,
• Knowledge of Personal Data Protection Law (KVKK), data privacy, and other corporate compliance-related matters,
• Ability to communicate and coordinate effectively with different business functions and local and international Group Companies,
• Experience in monitoring the implementation of corporate policies and procedures and supporting compliance monitoring activities,
• Good command of English, both written and spoken,
• Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, and attention to detail skills,
• Strong communication and collaboration skills,
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications,

We are looking for a Senior Attorney at Law (Compliance Officer).

Job Description

• Support and monitor the Company’s and its Group Companies’ compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and internal policies,
• Monitor regulatory and legislative developments in relevant jurisdictions and assess their impact on the operations of the Company and its Group Companies,
• Prepare, update, implement, monitor, and coordinate corporate policies, procedures, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) with the relevant business functions,
• Support the compliance activities of local and international Group Companies by coordinating the preparation, update, implementation, and localization of the required compliance documentation in line with local regulations; communicate and coordinate with external legal advisors where necessary,
• Support the Legal team in Personal Data Protection (KVKK) and other applicable data privacy processes, including privacy notices, consent forms, data processing activities, and data retention and destruction procedures,
• Monitor the implementation of local and Group-wide compliance policies,
• Support third-party due diligence, sanctions screening, anti-bribery and anti-corruption (ABAC) processes, and related compliance risk assessments,
• Support the preparation and delivery of employee training programs across the Company and its Group Companies on compliance, Personal Data Protection (KVKK), applicable data privacy requirements, business ethics, and corporate policies,
• Analyze compliance risks and recommend appropriate mitigation actions,
• Review contracts, business processes, and operational activities from a compliance perspective,
• Support internal investigations, whistleblowing processes, and compliance-related processes across the Company and its Group Companies,
• Collaborate closely with relevant business functions and designated contacts within the Group Companies,
• Support compliance reporting, monitoring, internal control, and audit activities across the Company and its Group Companies,
• Contribute to strengthening a consistent culture of ethics and compliance across the Group.
