DEVA is seeking for a Lawyer;

• Law degree from a reputable university,
• Admission to practice law in Türkiye,
• Strong interest in developing a career in intellectual property law,
• Preferably up to 1 year of experience in trademark and intellectual property law,
• Preferably experienced in trademark filings, oppositions, renewals, searches, proof of use matters, litigation and similar trademark-related procedures,
• Excellent command of written and spoken English,
• Strong legal drafting, research and analytical skills,
• Excellent communication and coordination skills,
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities,
• Detail-oriented, collaborative and solution-focused.

Job Description

• Supporting and managing national and international trademark application, registration, renewal and opposition processes,
• Monitoring trademark portfolios and coordinating relevant procedures,
• Supporting litigation and other legal proceedings relating to trademark disputes, including preparation of pleadings and attendance at hearings,
• Providing legal support to internal departments on trademark and other IP-related matters,
• Supporting trademark searches and risk assessments,
• Review national and international trademark bulletins, identify potentially conflicting applications, and coordinate opposition and other necessary actions,
• Coordinating communications and workflows with external trademark attorneys and law firms, both domestically and internationally,
• Preparing structured and trackable reports regarding trademark applications and registrations,
• Supporting internal reporting and file management processes within the department.
