Hannover Fairs Turkey and MENA Fuarcılık is responsible for the planning, organizing and implementing of the shows of Deutsche Messe AG in Turkey. This position reports directly to Head Of Business Development & MENA Projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Economics, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of professional experience.
• Experience in B2B industries is strongly preferred.
• Proven experience or strong familiarity with international business development, specifically in the MENA and/or CIS regions, is highly desirable
• Hands-on experience in market research, market analysis, and identifying new business opportunities is strongly preferred.
• Strong analytical and research-oriented mindset, with the ability to interpret market data, industry trends, and competitive dynamics.
• Ability to evaluate business opportunities from commercial, financial, and strategic perspectives.
• Strong communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Proactive, curious, and self-motivated, with a strong interest in exploring new markets, sectors, and business models.
• Fluent command of written and spoken English.
• Proficiency in MS Office applications, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
• No travel restrictions.

Responsibilities

• Drive sustainable growth by identifying and developing new trade fair, event, and business opportunities across Türkiye, MENA, and other potential markets.
• Conduct market research, feasibility, competitor, and profitability analyses to evaluate new business opportunities.
• Monitor industry trends, market dynamics, and competitor activities to generate actionable market insights. Prepare SWOT analyses, business plans, revenue models, and decision-support materials for new projects.
• Evaluate target industries, geographic markets, customer segments, and the commercial potential of new concepts.
• Collaborate with Sales and Marketing teams to support the positioning and commercialization of new projects.
• Develop strategic partnerships and business opportunities with industry associations, companies, institutions, and other relevant stakeholders.
• Support the internal evaluation, approval, and implementation processes of new projects and business concepts.
• Identify potential business opportunities and collaborate with project teams to optimize and enhance the commercial success of existing projects.
• Coordinate with external research firms, consultants, and service providers when required and follow up on project deliverables.
• Prepare and present business development reports, market insights, and strategic recommendations to support management decision-making.
