We are looking for a Health & Safety Responsible with a strong commitment to workplace safety to join our team at wienerberger Türkiye Niğde Plant.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensuring compliance with local OHS legislation and at the same time to determine corrective actions, carry out follow – up and evaluations and sharing them with the factory management to ensure compliance with the H&S procedures and regulations based in wienerberger,
• Regularly participating in our group’s H&S conferences and meetings in abroad and leading implementation of the resulting actions in the facility,
• Leading the dissemination of our group’s global OHS culture locally and being responsible for spreading the behavior-based safety culture,
• Supporting the regular follow up of ISO 45001 OHS Management Systems documentation, and preferably support ISO 14001 Environmental Management System documentation,
• Organizing and coordinating safety-related meetings
• Maintaining and following up on safety reports
• Developing, implementing, and enforcing management systems within the local organization
• Ensuring compliance with HS regulations and company policies for employees and contractors
• Conducting site inspections, assessments, and audits, recommending corrective /preventive actions
• Leading safety meetings, training sessions, and toolbox talks, while providing coaching and resources for successful HS operations
• Ensuring compliance with HS recordkeeping requirements

Qualifications & Skills:

• Occupational Health and Safety Specialist Certificate from the Ministry of Labor and Social Security (B / A)
• 5 years of experience in Occupational Health and Safety
• Good English (written & spoken)
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Excellent problem-solving, creative thinking, and solution-oriented mindset
• High learning capability and target-oriented approach
• Ability to set priorities and manage time effectively
• Strong MS Office skills
• Experience working with cross-functional teams and building strong relationships
