Group Contract Manager

Key Responsibilities:

• Review, evaluation, drafting, negotiation and management of contracts for Anel Group Companies,
• Advise and support group company general managers, project directors, managers, and engineers on implementing contracts and contracting strategies,
• Support teams in negotiation with clients, contractors, subcontractors to achieve the optimum strategy for the company, attend contract negotiation meetings with customers, subcontractors, vendors etc. along with the business line owner for providing consultative support when required,
• As being one of the critical key responsible for new business contract negotiations, advise and support tender teams in business development, ensure that all risks and liabilities are specifically defined and kept at minimum prior signing the contract,
• Create centralized log and tracking systems in coordination with site contract and commercial teams worldwide,
• Review, advice and draft letters on contractual correspondences,
• In coordination with legal teams, manage claims and disputes with parties and lead for the contractual strategy of the company,
• Prepare, track and manage contractual risks and opportunities for the group, especially for construction projects and create a sustainable system for management reporting.

Functional / Technical Skills

•  A minimum 8+ years of experience in contract management preferably in construction,
• Fluency in written and spoken English with advanced negotiation techniques,
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, legal or economics and administrative sciences,
• Compatible with large, multi-location, corporate environment in a matrix organization,
• Experience in contracting sector, international contract management, dispute resolution (preferably arbitration) and different contract structures (Such as Fidic Suites, NEC etc.),
• Knowhow on commercial and legal terms and conditions of contracts executed with the Client, Main Contractor, Subcontractors and Suppliers,
• No obstacles to travel around Turkey and overseas.
