WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
- Have previous experience in a receptionist or front-of-house role, with a strong understanding of guest service standards.
- Possess excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to handle guest requests and inquiries professionally.
- Be a team player with strong leadership abilities, able to motivate and guide junior staff while maintaining a positive work environment.
- Demonstrate a high level of attention to detail and accuracy in managing guest information and administrative tasks.
- Be highly organized, proactive, and able to prioritize tasks effectively in a busy environment.
- Have a genuine passion for providing exceptional service and creating memorable guest experiences.
- Excellent command of both spoken and written English,

WHAT WE EXPECT FROM THIS POSITION...
- Provide a warm, professional, and personalized greeting to all guests, ensuring they feel welcomed and valued from the moment they arrive.
- Assist guests with check-in/check-out procedures and ensure that their stay is as comfortable and enjoyable as possible.
- Handle guest inquiries and complaints promptly and professionally, aiming to resolve issues efficiently while maintaining guest satisfaction.
- Ensure that regular and VIP guests are recognized and their preferences are noted to provide a personalized experience.
- Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of services, promotions, and events at the restaurant to provide guests with accurate and relevant information.
- Oversee daily reception operations to ensure smooth check-in/check-out processes, accurate reservation management, and efficient handling of guest requests.
- Coordinate with other departments (kitchen, bar, housekeeping, etc.) to ensure that all guest requests and needs are met promptly and accurately.
- Ensure that all guest information is properly recorded and kept confidential, in line with company policies and privacy regulations.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming reception area that meets the restaurant’s standards for aesthetics and functionality.
- Provide guidance, training, and support to junior receptionists, helping them develop their skills and knowledge.
- Act as a role model for the reception team, demonstrating professionalism, effective communication, and exceptional customer service.
- Assist in managing shift schedules and ensure that the reception desk is adequately staffed at all times.
- Help with on-the-job training for new team members, ensuring they are familiar with reception protocols, systems, and guest service standards.
- Support the Reception Manager with staff performance assessments, offering feedback and assisting with the identification of areas for improvement.
- Assist with administrative tasks such as managing reservations, checking guest preferences, and ensuring all guest information is accurate and up-to-date.
- Assist with the maintenance of inventory for reception supplies, reporting any shortages to the Reception Manager.
- Contribute to the preparation of daily and weekly reports regarding guest feedback, team performance, and any operational challenges.
