Financial Controlling Specialist

Danone Turkey is looking for a talented colleague for the "Financial Controlling Specialist " position. The management of everything that goes towards making a product and getting it to consumers.

Be responsible from the following requirements:

• Being a business partner to Logistic Team by providing detailed analysis related to logistic costs,
• Manage Rolling Forecast process for detailed cost breakdown by closely working with Logistic Team, challenge and build forecast accuracy,
• Tracking risks and opportunities constantly with Logistic Team for building rolling forecast accuracy,
• Involvement in monthly closing process; ensuring costing run properly and all accruals are booked for all logistic costs,
• Providing variance analysis between actuals vs forecast & Last year vs Current year, obtaining valid explanations for variances from Operations team and brainstorming on explanations by sharing your analysis outputs,
• Identify and drive cost improvement opportunities, to be an active contributor to productivity projects, validate, review and track proposed savings,
• Continuously identify, design and implement improvements in processes leveraging technology and data,
• Proactively monitoring and striving to maintain high levels of data quality and accuracy.

To be able to successful in the role, you need to have:

• University degree in Business Administration, Economics, Engineering or related fields
• Minimum 1-2 years of experience in financial & business control, reporting, planning functions
• Accounting knowledge is required/ IFRS reporting experience is an asset
• Financial controlling and FMCG experience is an asset
• Excellent command of written and spoken English
• MS Office (advanced excel) knowledge; SAP and Power BI knowledge is an asset
• Good communication and interpersonal skills, strong cross functional relationships
• Adherence to a specific process and facilitate requests to meet specific deadlines through effective time management
• Ability to bring creativity to the position while striving for continuous improvement
