General Qualifications and Responsibilities

• To be present and assist with food preparation when required.
• To work under the direction of the Chef de Parties and Sous Chefs.
• To maintain the work area in hygienic conditions at all times, in accordance with the rules determined by the restaurant.
• To control food stock and food cost within one’s own section.
• To follow the instructions and guidance of senior management in order to complete daily tasks.
• To promote effective teamwork.
• To prepare all meat, fish, vegetables, sauces, and poultry.
• To cook all food items as requested and serve them according to the required standards.
• To ensure that all products have been delivered; to inform the supervisor of any shortages; and to check whether delivered products meet the required quality standards.
• To have a minimum of two years of previous work experience in a similar position in a five-star hotel or a comparable restaurant.
• To maintain a professional and respectful relationship with everyone in the workplace.
• To report any problems, machine failures, or issues with small equipment as soon as possible.
