Scope:

To provide expert medical consultation and support in a fast-paced and diverse

environment. This role is pivotal in ensuring that our clients receive the highest

standard of medical assistance.

Responsibilities:

1. Medical Consultation: Provide expert medical advice and guidance to insurance companies, or other stakeholders; evaluating medical conditions, recommending treatments, or advising on medical procedures.

2. Case Management: Oversee and manage individual patient files, especially in situations where medical assistance is needed across different locations

3. Coordination of Care: Lead relations with healthcare providers to coordinate patient care, ensuring that patients receive appropriate and timely medical services.

4. Medical Reviews: Review and assess medical files, records, claims, and other documentation to determine the necessity and appropriateness of treatments and services.

5. Emergency Assistance: Provide medical advice and support in emergency situations, such as arranging for medical evacuation, emergency medical treatment, or other urgent care needs.

6. Policy Development: Contribute to the development and implementation of medical policies and procedures within the company to ensure high standards of care and compliance with regulations.

8. Quality Assurance: Monitor and evaluate the quality of medical services provided, ensuring that they meet established standards and improve processes where needed.

9. Collaboration with Internal Teams: Working closely with other departments such as operations, and customer service to ensure that the network aligns with the company’s overall goals and can effectively support its operations.

Requirements:

Medical Doctor (MD) degree from an accredited faculty of medicine.

Minimum 3 years of clinical experience.

Strong clinical knowledge and the ability to make accurate and informed medical decisions.

Passion for the medical profession and a strong commitment to providing high-quality medical assistance.

Passion for helping people and providing effective medical assistance.

Strong clinical judgment and a patient-oriented approach.

Advanced proficiency in both German and English.

Experience in tourism medicine in holiday destinations or as a physician in the insurance sector will be considered an asset.

Strong communication and negotiation skills.

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Basic computer skills and good knowledge of MS Office applications.

Willingness to learn and continuously develop professionally.

Ability to communicate effectively with patients, healthcare providers, insurance companies, and internal teams.

Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, international, and multidisciplinary environment.

Located in Istanbul, preferably on the Anatolian side.

No restrictions on domestic or international travel.
