The Hotel
Mandarin Oriental Bosphorus, Istanbul has become Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group's second hotel in Türkiye. The hotel is located on the European side of Istanbul, in the luxurious residential district of Kuruçeşme, right next to the unique Bosphorus. Duties and Responsibilities
- To provide full administrative assistance - preparation of general correspondence, handling telephone calls, organizing appointments.
- To liaise with the Executive Committee, Department Heads, and other colleagues for necessarily following up on queries / deadlines / requests and special functions as requested by the Executive Chef.
- To liaise with chef venue Managers to ensure reporting deadlines are met.
- To process the Guest Feedback and Questionnaires, including review of responses prior to Chefs review and signature.
- To prepare responses to guest correspondence for Chefs review and signature as needed.
- To type Food and Beverage Menus and complete all administration required for the Kitchen venues.
- To compile reports for Kitchen venue as requested.
- To liaise with Restaurant guests and patrons.
- To maintain an efficient filing and trace system.
- To attend meetings as required and take minutes of discussed information.
- To assist in preparation of work schedules and annual leave schedules within budget, business expectations and guidelines of the Labor Law.
- To support the company’s philosophy and company culture using Legendary Quality Experiences and Guiding Principles and D.E.L.I.G.H.T as part of ensuring Guest Satisfaction and the achievement of our Mission Statement.

- To anticipate guests’ needs through observation and offer prompt, efficient service either personally or through effective communication with other associates.
- To order materials, supplies, and ingredients based on demand.
- To supervise kitchen employees and organize food orders.
- To monitor inventory levels and perform weekly inventory assessments.
- To work with the Outlet Managers to price and change menu items.
- To store all food products in compliance with health and safety regulations.
- To ensure the kitchen is clean and organized.
- To maintain weekly and monthly cost reports.
- To carry out any other duties that may be reasonably requested by the Executive Chef and Executive Sous Chef.
