Job Description
Clearing used plates from the table, cleaning the table, changing the tablecloth, keeping the service trays clean and placing them in the designated area when full, maintaining the table setup, and preparing the table for new guests once it becomes vacant.
Qualifications
Maintains personal hygiene; stays well-groomed in details such as shaving, uniform, shoes, mustache, and beard.
Has complete knowledge of the menu.
Is required to attend all trainings organized for them.
Assists with table setup when necessary.
Ensures that served items are at the correct temperature.
Sets up tables properly according to standards.
Ensures that food is served at the appropriate temperature.
Is responsible for the cleanliness and shine of cutlery and glassware.
Is ready for service before service begins.
Uses proper and respectful language when communicating with colleagues.
Ensures trays do not pile up at stations and keeps this area and trays clean and organized.
Assists guests with pulling out their chairs.
Shows proper attention and care even when the guest serves themselves from the bar.
Properly separates clean and dirty equipment; does not allow them to mix or carry them on the same tray.
Does not stack items on top of each other and maintains proper storage organization.
Ensures consumables, silverware, and other equipment are not stored together and maintains proper storage order.
Is always attentive and polite.
Performs all tasks assigned by the supervisor.
Checks the cleanliness of their assigned station.
Provides fast service according to service standards.
Greets guests by name whenever possible.
Completes all side duties according to the duty schedule.
Checks the appearance, temperature, and portion size of dishes before serving to ensure they meet standards.
Arrives at the workplace on time, maintaining a clean and compliant uniform appearance at all times.
