WHAT WE EXPECT FROM THIS POSITION...


  • Lead the onboarding, training, and development of the bar team to ensure they are highly skilled and knowledgeable in beverage service.
  • Oversee the day-to-day operation of the bar team, ensuring that all tasks are performed efficiently and productively.
  • Conduct regular training sessions, assessments, and exams to refresh and elevate the team’s beverage knowledge, ensuring they are up-to-date with market trends.
  • Prioritize the development of team members and ensure a clear path for growth within the brand.
  • Take the lead on improving and enhancing the bar’s beverage selection, including cocktails, mocktails, and spirits, in line with current trends and market demand.
  • Collaborate with the kitchen team to create perfect food and beverage pairings that delight our guests and elevate their dining experience.
  • Consistently analyse beverage profitability, ensuring the selection of spirits and cocktails meets the operational requirements and guest satisfaction standards.
  • Monitor stock levels, ensuring all bar inventory is accurately tracked and reconciled.
  • Ensure all stock control procedures are followed, liaising effectively with suppliers to maintain consistent quality and timely deliveries.
  • Contribute to the creation of sales forecasts, scheduling, and the achievement of operational targets.
  • Maintain the level of perfection during inventories and verify all beverage delivery invoices with the purchase and finance department.
  • Ensure adherence to health and safety guidelines, including the safe service of alcohol, and manage the team’s compliance with legal regulations.
  • Provide the highest quality of beverage service, with a focus on guest engagement and satisfaction.
  • Train team members on effective upselling techniques to enhance guests’ overall dining experience and maximize sales opportunities.
  • Foster a positive guest experience by creating a welcoming and charismatic atmosphere at the bar.
  • Oversee all administrative tasks related to the bar department, including filing, recruitment, onboarding, and team performance evaluations.
  • Ensure all bar equipment, tools, and spaces are well-maintained and stocked, providing an efficient environment for team members.
